Haven't you LOVED all of the Minions' work this week?!!  And are you loving the Delicious Doodles digi's?!  Fantastic!  And now... a little sumpin' sumpin' from me: please click to enlarge photos... they look a little better I used Free Spirit for this one.  LOVE her!  And of course I can't photograph anything red and have it turn out right, so you'll have to trust me when I say this looks waaaaaaaaaaaay better in person. I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder, MS graveyard & grass punches, and the EK Success bracket punch.  The sentiment is one from Stamp Insanity. Just popping in between Zombie posts and showing you what I did for this week's Macabre Monday - "Alone in the Dark" challenge. This week is sponsored by our very own Minion, Teri from Delicious Doodles ! The very first image I ever purchased from Teri was The Grotesque Gargoyle . It was fun to color him in, although I did have a bit of a time with the shading since I chose to follow along with the dot technique for most of it. I like the effect it lends to the gargoyle and it's not  my normal way of shading so I like the new look to my coloring.   I ended up fussy cutting this Guardian of the Graveyard , and sticking him in the foreground of a very dark scene that I found online. Yep, it's CCC Donna's birthday today.  We don't know how old she is, because she said that a lady never tells... hmmmmm... I don't see no ladies around here... but we'll just go with it :) I made you a card, Donna, and I'm hoping it will get to you by tomorrow or the next day.  So this might spoil it, but you'll just have to suck it up! Great sentiment, right?  PERFECT for Donna, me thinks... especially since she IS so FABULOUS.  That's right, Donna, I said it... in that non-hoity-toity kind of way ;) The image is from Stampotique, the sentiment is from Missy B's, the edge punch is EK Success, the ribbon is from Michael's dollar bin (oh yes... yes it is... and it is delightful), and the AWESOME silver background is some wallpaper that Creepy Glowbugg sent to me.  LOVE IT! It is so sunshiney, that my skin is starting to blister just looking at it :)   I have crawled so far out of my box, that I may never find my way back... the one saving grace is that the card has a zombie on it.  :)  Otherwise you might have thought some sweet & cheery people went all willy-nilly with the HDH blog and had the Minions and I tucked away in the dungeon, right? Yep, Day 2... I missed the first day, so be sure to run over to the Simply Betty Stamps Blog for yesterday's Summer Zombie Lola !  We will be showcasing a new Summer Zombie everyday from today until Friday... which is their official release for both digi and clear stamps! Quick post today since I'm supposed to be working :P "Why no, BossMan... I'm not blogging... I'm doing research." ANY way, back to this week's fun challenge sponsored by Tiddly Inks ... Whoo hoo... thanks so much, Christy!  I chose to work with Heartbroke Happy ... kinda sad... or is she?  I'm thinking she is more like an inflicter of heartache instead... right?! The sheer skirt was fun to work with, and I tried out some new Copic colors... BG99, BG95, BG93... I'm diggin' them.  And I vamped her out a bit with C00 & BV20's skin tones :) AND do you see the little skully?!  I used a fun red/white camo GlowSkull from our very own Creepy Glowbugg !  I placed him atop a snippet of black lace on top of a swirled ribbon flower that I created from grosgrain... me likey. After the floods in Pakistan last year, millions of spiders took to living in trees to escape the waters. Because in some areas, the waters have taken so long to recede, it has left trees blanketed with spiderwebs, to the point that they look shrouded for burial. One unexpected side-effect is a reduction in the number of malaria-sufferers in regions where this phenomenom has occurred. It's thought that mosquitoes are getting caught in the webs. So the next time your friends or family moan about your creepier tendencies, point out that they may have unexpected health benefits, you just never know. And yes, I know this post isn't as laugh-filled as you usually get on Fridays, but I just thought that the pictures of these trees were astounding.

I guess that I am pretty predictable since Donna said she figured I'd pick this one. What can I say? So my Macabre Monday project did not go as planned. I am working on another "something", but wanted to  bring you some Kitty Zombie Lovin' to keep you  satisfied until I complete, said project.  This concludes my Wicked Wednesday offering. Hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow with a real, CreepyG original zombie creation. I will try not to crumble under the pressure to create something truly amazing. I'll try, but I kinda think that was my downfall the first time around.
