Eerie Elegance & a Halloween waterfall...

Yeay... the new calendar is out for The Scrapbook Page , and sign-ups can begin for my classes! First up, Eerie & Elegant Cards on October 11th, 6:30pm-8:30pm.  Click on the link and it will take you to the store's website where you can see all four cards. This is my favorite of the four, but the others are pretty cool, too :) And this one I am REALLY excited about... a Halloween Waterfall Mini-Album on October 19th, 6:30pm-8:30pm.  It is a wine bag album :)  Plenty of pockets & pull-outs...  all in Halloweenie glory! There is no way to do this album justice in a photograph.  Tons of heat embossing, Tim Holtz stamps, May Arts ribbons, flocked paper, and so much more.  LOVE it. If you are in the Kansas City area, stop by The Scrapbook Page and sign up!  For you out-of-towners that would like to purchase kits, please email the store for details.

little miss scrappy scrapperson...

I actually completed a little scrappin' yesterday!! I'm definitely NOT a speed scrapper! It takes me forever to finish a page [just ask Cindy or Laurie!]. I'm working on a 8.5x5.5 Halloween album. I'm one that includes blurry pictures in her albums... that adds an extra creepy touch to things, I think. Here's what I've finished so far [Oh! And I'm not showing the completed page 2 because I don't like it... I'm just showing a small element from it instead!]. Sorry about the reflection off of the page protectors... it's such a pain to get the pages in & out, that I just scanned those little buggers!! Cover: Page 1: Page 2 (sort of): ink on GrungeBoard Page 3: Page 4: Page 5: Page 6: I LOVE the cover, and my two favorite pages so far are # 5 & #6. I used TAC 's So Splattered & Spring Dream , and the potion bottle stamp is one from my friend, Laurie... I can't remember the name of the manufacturer. And there are a TON of diff...

Thought I'd share my 1st prize winner from Saturday! There are several different stamp companies represented in addition to TAC, and I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know the names, but I'm sharing anyway! I purchased several of them at past stamp conventions, and half the time they don't put a card or anything in the bag with their name on it. I think the tree is from Stamp Oasis, the creepy skeleton scene is one I got from Ebay, the broom is from BattleAxe, 'Believe in Magic' is from Viva Las Vegas, spider web and bats are from TAC. The crow and tombstones are from the same place (convention), and the 'If the broom fits...ride it' is another convention stamp. Majority of the ribbon is from Martha Stewart, Target, and some misc. fiber. Scrapper's floss and Stickles are absolute musts! Transparent tags & fence from MM, and 'creepy crawly' tag is I-kandee. I dyed the shipping tag with Terra Cotta spray ink. VersaMark, Noir Palette,...
