Fiendishly Fun Friday - pumpkin carving extraordinaire!

I recently came across the wondrous creations of Roy Villafane, all carved from pumpkins and gourds. Impressive, no? And no, they're not preserved in any way, just like yours, these decay and rot after a week or so! :o

GET OUT OF HERE!!! How an earth did he do these???? I can barely do the slanty triangles for eyes thing!! Does he preserve them some how? Mine turn to mush after a week, can you imagine watching these dissolve?...actually that would look really amazing too :D XXX

These are amazing! such intricate detail. It's a shame he doesn't preserve them, although watching them rot would be interesting :)
