Fairy princess...

I have had this fairy all colored up with no where to go!  I just haven't been feelin' the mojo flowin'... I'm thinkin' it's this dreary weather... ugh.  So, I tried to use a sketch... let me just say that I do not use sketches... they are hard for me to design with for some reason.  That being said, I am not happy with the card, just happy with colored image :)  So I'll include this on the Copic Creations Challenge No. 24 for blonde hair and faces/skin tones.

Maybe you would have better luck with this sketch... it's over at the Smeared and Smudged forum, and it's the March Smeared and Smudged Very Sketchy Challenge.  And of course, this goes along with the princess theme here at HDH, except she's not sinister enough :)

I really like how I made her sleeves look sheer and the two-toned wings.

Stamps:  FY39 Elegant Fairy (StampItCrazy), Yield to the Princess (TAC)
Paper:  white ultra smooth & black (TAC), DCWV blue, & Bazzill gold cardstocks
Ink:  Tuxedo Memento, Noir & Cognac Palettes
Other:  Bazzill Bitty Blooms, Copic markers, turquoise sequins, gems (Hobby Lobby), Diamond Stickles

Her sleeves and winngs are totally awesome! You did an amzing job with coloring her in! I have a hard time with sketches too. But I think you did a good job!

This is fab Barb, the card layout is great butthe high point is definitely your coloured image, she's just so luscious. And I think that attitude in the text makes her perfectly dark, lol, you know whomever she's talking to is about to be turned into something dank and unpleasant for daring to dis-please her Majestic-ness :D
And, thank you so much, I got a fab package from you yesterday morning, will be playing with some of those goodies once I get my weekend DT pieces done and dusted :)

Your colouring is, as always brilliant.... i havent entered the sketch challenge at S/S because i'm useless with sketches!

what do I think? truthfully the layout is way to symmetrical for me but the coloring is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! OMG!! LUV IT!
