HDH172 Macabre Monday - Get Yer Chunk On! + DT Throwdown
*Please see the sidebar for HDH Macabre Monday Rules*
(Note: entries not following the guidelines are not eligible for prizes or badges)
The new challenge theme is
Chunky ATC.
Don't freak out. It's not as intimidating as you may think.
Basically, a chunky ATC consists of a dimensional ATC,
measuring 3.5" x 2.5" x 1.5". Usually it is cut from a plank of
wood, but it can also be a bunch of ATCs glued together to achieve the
1.5" depth. You can also create a hollow box (see template below),
as long as it measures properly.
You can have all kinds of dimension and embellishments, as long as they
are all attached to the original 2.5" x 3.5" x 1.5" block/box.
Now that we have the basic details out of the way,

We are combining this post for both,
the Macabre Monday challenge,
and the new DT Throwdown at Smeared and Smudged.

I bet you'd like to see some phenomenal work from our Minions,
wouldn't you? Well, hold onto your witch hats, here they come!
Croms:
Marvelous take on a Chunky ATC Clock!
So clever, and masterfully created!!
Ike:
Have you ever seen acetate used quite so wickedly!
It looks like you could reach right out and touch the wet heart.
Stunning!
Mark:
Brilliant idea to hollow out the ATC, and then use it like a frame.
I bet this is the first time the throwdown has seen an angel and spikes
in the same project. And the texture! Let's not overlook that
awesome texture.
Please stop by each of the Minion's blogs to see how
they created these wonderful pieces of chunky art.
Be sure and leave them some love for their hard work.
Minions need love too. Just don't tell anyone.
Here are our entries for the Design Team Throwdown
and our new challenge for Haunted Design House's
Macabre Monday.
It's not Monday, you say? We're Minions!
We don't have calendars in our Dungeon!
Silly mortals.
If you'd like to play along in our Chunky ATC challenge,
add your entry as usual using Mister Linky below.
If you are here for the DT Throwdown, please vote for your
favorite team's projects starting 7/28/2013. You can place
your vote here when the time has come.
Thanks for stopping by the Dungeon!
