Haunted Design House

Well, skeleton crew that we are, we made it! Haunted Design House is back in the  Smeared and Smudged DT Throwdown ! The theme for this month's challenge is  " Old and Grey ". Last month's throwdown winners, Quot h the Raven (Congrats fellow Minions!!)   have chosen the daunting theme this time around. And a side note, you no longer need to be a member of the  S&S Ning group to vote.   Now you can vote directly right here !! It's not as intimidating as you may think. Basically, a chunky ATC consists of a dimensional ATC, measuring 3.5" x 2.5" x 1.5". Usually it is cut from a plank of wood, but it can also be a bunch of ATCs glued together to achieve the 1.5" depth. You can also create a hollow box (see template below),  as long as it measures properly.  You can have all kinds of dimension and embellishments, as long as they are all attached to the original 2.5" x 3.5" x 1.5" block/box. Now that we have the basic details out of the way, You are to  create a   dark,  Gothic, or  Hallowe'en   based Chunky ATC . Well, skeleton crew that we are, we made it! Haunted Design House is back in the  Smeared and Smudged DT Throwdown ! Just Creepy Glo and Donna this time around though. Being as most of our Minions serve double, triple, or quadruple duty on other DTs, it's hard to wrangle enough of us together  even for a monthly throwdown. The chosen theme for this month's challenge is  "Danse Macabre" or the "Dance of  Death". Last month's throwdown winners, Airless Chambers   chose the theme. And what a wicked theme it is!! Growing up and listening to metal bands, I immediately thought of a song by "Celtic Frost", aptly named, "Danse Macabre".  Well, it was sort of a song. More like track from a creepy, Satanic movie soundtrack. I'll put the You Tube link on my personal blog .
