Macabre Monday #015 - Sinister Smirks

Welcome to Haunted Design House's Macabre Monday challenge!


HDH Macabre Monday Rules:
1. Create a Halloweenie SOMETHING (card, scrap page, altered item, whatever) that follows the specific Macabre Monday challenge given. Cutesy is fine, but creepy is better :) However, no extra 'points' are given either way.
2. You have until the following Sunday night @ 5pm central time to post your creation and linky back here.
3. If you upload to any online galleries (TACPCC, PW, PCP, SCS, etc.), please tag the title using HDH015.
4. I'll have monthly contest giveaways... tune in for additional details.
5. I'll be selecting a weekly Gruesome Twosome (my top two favorite creations) from all the players. At the end of every month these will be compiled and a Master of Macabre will be selected. He/she will be asked to be a guest blogger for the following month, if they so wish, and receive a little giftie from me... this could be stamp sets, handmade items, papers, halloweenie embellishments... you just never know.

Ok, my little pretties... your challenge this week:
Sinister Smirks 

Create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween page, project or card featuring a ghoulish grin, a lurid laugh, or a scary smile .
"If you're happy and you know it..."

This is my take on the challenge.  Just look at that sheepish grin... chillingly cute, right?  I LOVE the pink hair... and you can just barely see the pink blushing cheeks.  The card base was created with the Coluzzle file folder... love that thing.


Stamps:  Newt with Lunchbox (Torrente), sentiment (TAC, retired)
Paper (all TAC):  Tutti Fruitti SWIC, Mia's Cottage (pink), White UltraSmooth, & Black cardstocks
Ink:  Noir Palette
Other:  Copics, misc. ribbon

So sorry I've been missing you lately. I think for your challenges I'm gonna need to get a whole new bunch of stamps (what's a group of stamps, it's not a gaggle or flock). If I had a Magnolia stamp I could draw on a hideous grin, now that would be fun.

Oh no! I just used my Torrente "smile" image on the grave challenge. I may just use him again. He is so stinkin' cute! Sorry about the double link on the grave challenge!

I love this challenge, and I have a small, maybe stupid, question: are hand-drawn images okay by you? Because I don't have a stamp but I just finished a card that could go with this challenge.

I made it in time. This card really creeped me out, and that takes some doing. I never could use the saying on this card. It is truly "spine tingling". Sure glad I can't throw anything out though because it is perfect for your challenge...LOL Happy Thanksgiving everyone! The Oz
