Movie Madness mid week inspiration
It's that time of the week again!!
Time for a little hump day horror and a chance
to inspire some of you to play along with our
Movie Madness challenge.
I am joined today by my Sister Minion, Donna,
and our wonderfully crafty guest DT, Nancy.
We have such sights to show you!
First up,
Guest Minion Nancy:
Nancy is using "Zombie Alice" , a Spesch Designer Stamp.
Nancy's 3D work is just amazing!
Now I went the route of the overachiever this week.
I made two projects, but only because I couldn't decide on
which Spesch image to use.
First up, we have ...
Fleetwood.
That's Fleetwood Coupe de Ville, baby!! From "The Wiz".
This is actually the "Oz Lion" from our sponsor, Spesch Designer Stamps.
I just lurve him! I didn't want to go all Disney with the creepy/sad Lion King,
and I didn't want to go with the Wizard of Oz, so The Wiz allowed me
the funkadelic color scheme. I watched The Wiz a while back with my
son thinking he'd like it, and he did not. Not at all. It kind of left a bad
taste in my mouth as well. I remember really liking it as a kid back in '78,
but kind of like the "Dukes of Hazzard", I only really liked it as a kid back in the day.
I digress.
I really like this image of ol' Voldy and the gang.
It's called "Voldemort and the Death Eaters" available at Spesch.
Killer artwork! I was so inspired even though I am not a huge
Potter geek. I have read all of the books, and I have seen all the films,
and I did cry when I read Dobby's death and at the end of the series.
BUT, I am not a Potter geek. Oh, and I did go out at midnight to get the
Deathly Hallows in 2007. In my defense, we lived in Paris, Texas
and we were so bored that it seemed the only thrilling thing to do at midnight.
Goin' to the Walmart. Whoopee! I think there were about 15 people there
for books. I bet only half of us could read.
And now we have Donna!!
I'm pretty sure this is inspired by AIW as well.
I really like how Donna impaled the bunny's head upon the
scepter. Nice. Very nice.
Spesch Designer Stamps is our sponsor and they
are offering up 3 free images to both of this week's
Gruesome Twosome.
You can't win if you don't play.
And now for last week's chosen ones.
Congratulations to
Brilliant use of the fleur de lis punch and an all around
killer, musically inspired, werewolf card!
and
Even if this wasn't based on Alice Cooper's music, it would still
be a haunting and disturbing piece. Since it is all about Alice,
it is perfection! All the way down to the noose and the asylum
photos. Nice. Very nice.
Thank you again to everyone who played along with our
challenge last week and every week.
We're taking back the crafting world, one creepy project at a time!

Thank you for the honor.
Mark, congrats on your win for your fabulous piece!
