HDH113 - Heinously Haunted Houses

*Please see the sidebar for HDH Macabre Monday Rules*

(Note: entries not following the guidelines are not eligible for prizes or badges)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Can you believe it's finally here?!  All of us here at HDH hope that all of our stalkers have a eerily fantastic night of thrills and chills.  Be sure to leave a comment of how you are spending this evening... you never know if the Mistress will be handing out random treats ;)

And just a heads-up:  HDH will be taking a break from our formal challenges for the rest of the year after this week's challenge.  Now don't fret!  We will still be posting, and throwing out a few challenges, but the Macabre Minions definitely need a little yard time away from the dungeon :)

You'll definitely want to keep checking in with HDH... because even though the winter holidays seem to take over everything, we at HDH pride ourselves in keeping the creepiness alive all year long!!

Ok, macabre fans... your challenge this week:

HDH113
Heinously Haunted Houses

You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece
that features a haunted house as the focus.
This IS Haunted Design House after all :)  The more decrepit, deteriorating or disturbing... the better!

And the Masterful Mistress of the Macabre has a fun little prize pack for the winner this week:

(12) 6x6 papers, ribbons, Halloweenie bandages (for your boo boo's), pencils, glow-in-the-dark bracelet, haunted house rubber stamp, fleur bling, jacko Pez dispenser, wind-up skeleton toy, Tim Holtz cling rubber stamp, & a pair of skeleton hand gloves (my favorite!).

The Macabre Minions are ready as ever to keep the
Hallowe'en party going with these awesome works of inspiration!

Sultana of Sinister Lynx:

Fantastic mini!  Look at all of those details... awesome!

Creepy Cricut Cween Donna:

Wonderful welcoming hanging... dare we knock?

Agent of the Abominable Andrea:
We love our exclusive paranormal reporter :)

Devious Digital Demoness Susan:

Fabulously eerie piece... LOVE it!

Temptress of Terror Teri:

Great digital piece, Teri... LOVE all of those images!

Chaotic Creepy Glowbugg:
will post on Wretched Wednesday, so tune in!

Your turn to haunt us!

Great stuff from everyone! You'll be horrified to hear that Halloween has been postponed in our area due a freaking SNOW STORM!!! I live in Massachusetts, we got a FOOT of snow Saturday night/Sunday. But it's supposed to be 60 degrees later in the week, so they postponed Halloween until Thursday! I was 8 years old the last time we had snow on Halloween, and we TRICK OR TREATED in it. Wimps. ;) xoxo

Fantastic projects from the DT! I am spending tonight helping my cousin take her kiddies trick or treating.

Love these projects we don't do the trick or treat bit with our kiddies cos we live well out of town, but we do make bat and cat cookies and the kids decorate their own ones (and themselves) and we have a pumpkin carving competition and eat home made pumpkin soup. This year we even made our own decorations from plywood and painted them with greens and purples and of course black! So tonight will be magical. heidix

great projects, I don't if we are going to have trick or treaters this year, I will have the candy ready just in case. So it will be a nice quiet evening infront of the TV.

Well right this minute my 16 yo niece Sky is taking her road test for her drivers license. So I seriously am worried for all the little trick or treaters lol. We are celebrating by watching scary movies and gorging on Halloween candy.

pant pant... 1 h 25 minutes until deadline exspires. Paint still not dry, but most pieces glued together.

I came up with something totally different as I wanted to do, but so it happens sometime.

Thanks a lot for the challenge. I really had fun today although I didn't want to spend hours on the project as I finally did.
