The gals from The Burtonesque Dolls, Simply Betty Stamps and Simply Betty Challenges blogs figured it was a good time to put together a blog hop of our very own:

SIMPLY BETTY.

This hop is ALLLLLLLLLLLLL about Betty and since October is Betty's favorite month (as it should be!) and there are sooooo many exciting things happening, why not do it just before?!!  This way we can get things warmed up for the whole October and Halloween theme.  Kinda like an appie!! 

And since Halloween is her favorite time of year you will be seeing mostly, if not all Halloween cards and we have used only Betty Emo's images.  

For my tribute to Betty, of course I HAD to use the Witchy Betty stamp!  After all, Betty just happens to be my Halloweenie Soul Sistah :)  I am sooooooo glad we found each other via the WWW.  She is just one of the sweetest gals around... pairing that with the fact that she has some sah-weet stamps & digis... and then throw the whole love-for-Halloween into the mix... how could I NOT dig this chick?!!  Thanks, B... thanks for asking me to be a part of your DT... thanks for your lovely comments... but most of all, thanks for your lovely self :)

And wouldn't you know that this card just so happens to also work for my HDH058 Magical Mayhem challenge!!  Yeay... I actually got to play along with my own challenge... 1st time in a long time!

Barb...this just ROCKS!!!! I love witch Betty with her green face!!! I love the extra shading and detail that you added!!! I love the textured paper in the background as well as the die cut or border punch gorgeousness that you've got going on along the bottom!!!

That's right we are the Halloweenie Soul Sistahs! I knew you had to be a part of my word when I stumbled across your blog. I thought WOW now that is one awesome Halloween chick! You have been more than awesome! Your work amazes me and your friendship is even more wonderful than I can say.

Thank you so much for this Barb... it totally made my day! Betty looks just amazing, the card is just totally rocking and that sentiment made me giggle.

Barb, this is utterly fantastic! And, of course, her skin should be green! Which reminds me of one of my favorite plays ever...Wicked. Did you see it?

The Evil Returns

Well, well, well, look who's opening the dungeon door... Time for some air in here! That's right, the Minions (well most of us anyway) have returned for a little play in the dungeon. We really missed each other's company, and the daring souls who liked to drop by every now and again.
