SBS Teen Scene - Preview Day 1

Image
Yep... building up to another new release from Simply Betty Stamps!  Every day this week there will be a preview of a new image of the Teen Scene line, so be sure to check back on the SBS blog to see them all!  I'll be back Wednesday & Release Day Friday with a couple more to show :) First up, London & Lynx : Don't you LOVE that curly hair?!  And her blouse is so cute with the little skully. At first I was going to make her a redhead... but I do that soooo much, I opted for a nice limey yellow-green this time.  And nothing finishes off an outfit like an orange bead-studded choker, right?  ;) That's it for today folks... be sure to keep checking back & pop over to Simply Betty Stamps blog to see more of London & Lynx ! Oh!  And HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Just for the fun of it...

This card has been done for a while and I just never posted it: Daniel Torrente's "Kitty" & "Eric" from Stampotique.  This card has no foof... not much of anything really.  A little Scor-Bug action and some Copics... that's it. Doesn't Eric's shirt remind you of Captain Kirk's from Star Trek? :)  And I can't believe I colored his skin so close to the background color... it looks like I used lavender cardstock on him, right? Here kitty kitty kitty... he looks a little worse-for-wear doesn't he?  Just a bit of Sunday fun.  Hope your weekend was a good one!

A Celebratory Romp...

Image
... sounds kinda dirty, doesn't it?  ;)  MUCH more fun than just a mere birthday bloghop, no?  Me & a couple of the Minions are doing a little Fiendishly Festive Friday Frolic to honor the Devious Digital Demoness ' birthday today, Susan !  Susan does SO much for HDH, from writing up the challenge posts, to finding WONDERFUL little gems for Fiendishly Fun Fridays, to cracking us up with comments and suggestions.  We love ya' baby! I know this little card isn't much, and of course you won't be receiving it in the mail today, but you will eventually!  I had hoped to create some bit of awesomeness like Creepy Glowbugg, but time once again slipped away from me... and she has all of that natural talent an all :P All of the stamps are from The Angel Company , Palette inks, EK Success edger punch, Cricut diecut fence & of course... Stickles.  Susan loves purple and sparkly things, so there you go :) Happy Birthday, Susan!  I hope today ...

HDH052 - Graveyard step card

Image
Freakin' finally , right?  I stayed up late last night finishing this little baby off.  I've seen step cards around for awhile now, and just never tried one out... this HDH052 challenge gave me the perfect reason to do one :)  I mean, sometimes it's tough to get three or more images on one card unless you have just a little bit more room to work with :) Have I told you lately that I LOVE my MS grass border punch?!  I think that is clear on this little graveyard scene! I stamped the iron gate on a transparency and then glued it at the bottom & covered it with another grass strip to conceal it.  Works well me thinks! I'm not sure you can tell, but there are a bunch of little stars in the night sky that I made with a glitter pen. How do you like the kitty hiding behind the grass?  That would be a " whoopsie-turned-wonderful ".  I took a marker to color the white around his whiskers green, so that it would blend a bit.  UGH!  Do NOT...

In keeping with this week's challenge...

Ok, so this isn't a teenager, but maybe it's a teenage cat?  Look at that face... talk about attitude... well, maybe it's orneriness instead?  At any rate, I thought I'd share a card that has nothing on it :)  I still like it for a clean & simple look... and really, it's all about the stamp images anyway, right?  Stamps:   PET32 cat (StampItCrazy), sentiment from an old GWP stamp from TAC Paper:   Premium white cardstock (TAC) Ink:   VersaFine Majestic Purple (super freakin' old, but super juicey... it actually turned a different color!) Other:   clear Stardust glitter gel pen Happy Hump Day!  There is still plenty of time to play along with this week's challenge!
