*Please see the sidebar for HDH Macabre Monday Rules* ( Note: entries not following the guidelines are not eligible for prizes or badges ) Our next Macabre Monday challenge is : Hangman's Handiwork use knots or a noose anywhere on your project Down in the dungeon we expertly know how to tie a noose or two. The hangman's knot or hangman's noose (also known as a collar during the Elizabethan era ) is a well-known knot most often associated with its use in hanging a person. That's right. You still have a week to enter our current challenge. Do you have a "go to" embellishment that you turn to in a pinch? How about sparkly ribbon or a cool 3D embellishment? Well, try to make a project using only one type of embellishment. Not as easy as you may think. Apparently, Donna likes the googly eyes.   Really though, who doesn't love a good googly eye, or two? Personally, I like brads.  If I have a blank spot to fill, there goes a brad.  I used four diamond brads on this card. Thanks for dropping by today. If you have any questions regarding our projects, or just want  to see more pictures,  please click on the photo  to be taken  to our personal blogs.

So sorry for the delay in naming the winners of the past few challenges. No good excuses, just an oversight. The appropriate Minion has had her lashings as a result. Hopefully, she has learned her lesson. "She", would be me. When you think of Stephen King, what comes to mind? Rabid St. Bernards, scary old clowns, vampires, The Overlook Hotel,  girls with telekinetic powers, ghosts? How about a  creepy  hospital with a  giant anteater roaming the halls?  Maybe even a '58 Plymouth Fury, named Christine? No matter what you think of Mister King, he has been both prolific,  and ground breaking,  in the horror genre. Our second week of Stephen King Knightmares has now begun. Please share your version of a Stephen King title (film, tv, or book) with us. If it isn't obvious, please let us know which title you have chosen  as your muse. *Please see the sidebar for HDH Macabre Monday Rules* ( Note: entries not following the guidelines are not eligible for prizes or badges ) Our next Macabre Monday challenge is : Stephen King Knightmare Now not the sort of guy you would use as a muse to tell your kids their bedtime stories but for this challenge lets get sick and twisted and use the unhealthy mind of Stephen King as inspiration.  You can use his books, movies and comic books as your muse. Take inspiration from a movie: Or from a comic book: Or one of his books: Let's see what has come from the equally twisted minds of the minions!
