Day four of previews for a new line of Simply Betty Stamps images... Today's image is the probably the edgiest one of the bunch... Raven :  Yeah, me thinks I wouldn't want to piss her off too much ;)  You can't see it very well, but I used the MS Drippy Goo punch again in the lower left... a lovely black ribbon rose & I got the Copic airbrush out again.  This time I used the brush tip instead of the chisel tip to get a bigger & bolder splatter effect. I stumbled across this fabulously fun online shop, Pushin Daisies ,  while surfing the net awhile back.  It was started by a licensed funeral director... so it's GOT to be good, right? There are so many awesome finds, that I can't show them all here... you'll just have to go check them out yourself!  But here are few choice gems: Yard art just got more fun :) How's this for a wedding cake topper?! Nothing says chocolate like a skeleton in a coffin, right? Me thinks these ice trays are a MUST! And a whole page of skull items ... especially love the skull grapes :) And the poison casket ring really gives me the warm fuzzies. Giftie giving just got easier :)

Yes, that would be me.  Thanks for asking.  :)   I'm in need of some free & EASY digital video editing software.  I've been shooting a couple of tutorials with our digital camcorder, but they are waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long.  In fact, they would be just about right if I could just change the speed to fast-forward the whole time :)  It's not like I'm talking throughout the thing... although I would also need to add some text to the video to explain schtuff. I just downloaded the Windows MovieMaker, but evidently my video card is total sheeee-ite (according to the little pop up window) and so the program won't run.  You would think that since I'm married to a compu-nerd that I would have some stellar system... evidently not.  Wienie.  Sooooooo... any ideas?

So evidently Blogger decided to delete my January 1st post I had scheduled.  Ugh. January 1st-6th, the Simply Betty Stamps DT have been/will be previewing the latest SBS Valentine Emos line... just in time for Valentine's Day!  On January 7th, there will be a big blog hop & you can begin purchasing these awesome images... digital or rubbah , baby! See... I TOLD you I already had it done!  I actually had finished this over a week ago :)  thankfully, because work has had me freakin' swamped!  No fun time for me, dammit :( Anyhoo, back to today's (last week's) bit o' fun: For my offering for HDH067 Paper Pandemonium challenge, I used three different papers from Crafty Chaos Designs .   The line is called Velvet Descent .   LOVE it!  I also used one of Susan's images called Part of Me . The pictures aren't great... the violet looks more grapey-purple than it's supposed to look :)  And it's MUCH more blended in real life... WTF? I LOVE the black rose trim from American Crafts.  I can't remember where the black baubles came from, and the edger punch is EK Sucess (or is it a MS?).  Oi.  Where's my head? Well, I'm off (yeah... waaaaaaaaay off) to get some more work done.  Ugh.  Cross your fingers and cast a spell that I may find time on Sunday to announce some past winners...

How did you like yesterday's preview?  Well, on to Day Two: Elfin' Miller is in da-house!  I swear I giggle every single time I see him :)  VERY simple card, but I just couldn't foof it up.  Me thinks I need some red/black embellies.  Believe it or not, I just don't have any!  A room full of papercrafting schtuff & I couldn't find something that worked with this... CRAZY.  Time for a room re-org!!! Please note:   Elfin' Miller does NOT come holding the pair of tidy whities ...  THAT little gem was added by me :) And soooooooooo totally perfect for this image, dontcha think?  And in case you can't see the sentiment, the front says: WTH... I was good all year & all I got were these tidy whities?! The inside reads: Don't EVEN tell me what's in my stocking.  I really wanted a wittier sentiment, but I just totally blanked.  The possibilities really are endless...  chestnuts roasting jingle bells snowballs...

... on the brink of being finished?  Nope, not even close.  I sat down last night to start my challenge card, got impatient, didn't let my ink dry long enough, and poof... smeared.  So, I went ahead and played around with the color combo that I WOULD have used for my challenge card... which will not be done.  That's right... I'm a quitter.  : P I do have a good excuse... kinda.  I worked 7 days in a row without any time off and it totally sapped my creative mojo-ness.  I'm hoping that today, while I'm giving some coloring pointers to a buddy of mine, my mojo will creep back to me.  Wish me luck! Happy Friday the 13Th to you all! I have chosen a few "unsettling" photos to celebrate this day of unluckiness. I thought I would start out slow with a creepy clown pic for you. I know this is some one's cat morphed into a Santa picture, but damn! That's some creepy photo.    This is very "Human Centipede-ish". Just more solid reason why I hate baby dolls. You know that thing ravages the yard at night looking for frogs and rats to eat! Lock up your cats and small dogs. The Babypede is on the prowl! And my finale photo... Awww.... look it's a baby! I just realized that there was a theme of children in this photo offering. I'm not usually a fan of other people's kids, even though I worked at an elementary school for a couple years. I do find it entertaining to spin fantastical tales for my own amusement, and see how many kids I can fool with my crap. Sometimes ya just gotta make lemonade.

Since I have been sucking (in a bad way) at posting, and keeping up on schtuff... should I enlist the help of you good ( or evil ) readers?  I guess it would be KINDA like a design team, but since I don't own some awesome stamp store, compensation would be a whole separate poll question :) (HDH design team picture stolen from Google images) See, when I first started this little ol' blog, I thought I would be surfing the net, finding all kinds of random creepy and weird stuff to post... photos, links, whatever.  How much of THAT has gone on here?
