It's the Masterful Mistress of the Macabre here, late as usual with my Macabre Monday challenge goodness (bad bad Mistress) I may have to switch places with the Minions for my actions...  well...  maybe ;) We are having our  LAST  challenge of the year, which expires this Sunday at 5pm CST.  The Minions are in need of a little yard time from the dungeon, but will pop in now and again to keep everyone on their toes. So, what is the challenge? Macabre Monday  challenge, " Sam hain   Sun set ." You are to  create a   dark,  Gothic, or  Hallowe'en based art piece that represents a  Samhain  Sunset . I had so many killer images from Teri's shop to choose from, so I thought, why limit myself? I'm greedy like that. I made a step card. I managed to get four of Teri's Pirate themed images onto this card. The steps made it possible to add all kinds of goodies, but I think I have a problem with less is more. A side...

Yep, it's CCC Donna's birthday today.  We don't know how old she is, because she said that a lady never tells... hmmmmm... I don't see no ladies around here... but we'll just go with it :) I made you a card, Donna, and I'm hoping it will get to you by tomorrow or the next day.  So this might spoil it, but you'll just have to suck it up! I am running a tad behind for my WW post, so here are some WIP photos to prove I am working on something.... Fingers and one, blind, glow in the dark eyeball Here is my mess on the kitchen counter. I am almost finished with my Macabre Monday offering for the "Alas, poor Yorick" challenge. This edition of Wicked Wednesday is a bit tardy as it is "Zombie Week" on the Chiller channel and I am easily distracted by the undead. For this week's Macabre Monday challenge of "Toe Tags and Body Bags", we are to design a tag or a bag with a creepy twist. I went with tags. I had fun decoupaging this one with various images, stamps, mulberry papers, and a charm. This was a digital tag that I embossed and cracked. I also added a handmade coffin charm and some fibers. Here is a good picture of the iridescent embossing and the cracked glass effect. Drop by my blog for more info on these tags and a heads up regarding the next Macabre Monday challenge.
