One thing we are super bad at doing down here in the dungeon is choosing winners for our challenges. Time for some Gruesome Twosome catch up. The 2nd week of   this challenge   is almost up, but there is still some time left to join in on the dimensional fun and  be in the running to win a killer grab bag of Tando die cuts. I chose the webbed archway for my project. It gave me a good opportunity to use some of my favorite textures on each layer.   I also tried some textures on the coffin blank I found in my stash. I used TH Distress paint, some pigment ink in a metallic purple, and then  I used clear embossing powder to set the pigment ink. Luckily, it all worked. I also colored the orange rose and the small black bud using Copics to match my Sweet Pea image. Whew! The dungeon has really been boiling lately! Temps here have been stuck firmly in the 100+ degrees  for a few days now, with no relief in sight for another week or more! We have a Minion working full time to keep the swamp coolers going, but it really is just a special, little slice of  Hell here, at the moment. Try not to be jealous. The heat hasn't slowed down the creativity that has been churning  out of the Dungeon, though. Oh no, no, no, my friends.  In case you haven't heard, the two Minion team of Donna, and myself,  have won the latest DT Throwdown! Yup! We ROCK! Everyone who entered the challenge did an outstanding job.  So much so, that we were tied with Smeared Ink,  and we won the tiebreaker vote! Just barely!! Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote,  and to everyone who voted for us. So, since we're feeling so fortunate to have won our  third DT Throwdown , we have some Lucky 1...

I have been a selfish Minion. I have stalled getting the latest post written up, in the hopes that my project would be done by now. So. Not. The case.  The challenge theme is to use either a noose, or knots of some kind on your project. You can google, "how to tie a noose". It's surprisingly easy.
