HDH170 - Macabre Monday: Unlucky for Some

Welcome to the new Macabre Monday challenge,

Unlucky for Some.

You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Hallowe'en 

based art piece with a total of thirteen components.

No more. No less. Thirteen pieces total.

If you make a card, the base counts as one. If you use multiple 

dps, they each count as one. If you use six brads, 

they count as six. Catch my drift?
Hey, we call this a challenge for a reason.
It's nice to be stretched outside of our boxes every once
in a while. Well, we just like to be let out of our boxes
every once in a while. 

Let's check out if the Minions can count or not.

We make no promises. Some of us have more 

fingers and toes than others.

Macabre Monday - Holey Moley - week 2

Here we are starting the second, and final week for our

Holey Moley challenge.

Pretty simple, you just have to include MORE than one hole

 in your project. That's it! 

Oh, and make sure it's Hallowe'en, horror, Steampunk, 

or Gothic in theme.

Welcome to the new Macabre Monday challenge:

Holey Moley!

This is a pretty simple challenge this time around. All we ask 
is that you create a dark, Gothic, or Hallowe'en 
based art piece with more than one hole in it.

Now those holes can be cave entrances, rat holes, 
sink holes, or holes in a pair of stockings. 
Be creative, but keep it creepy.

Macabre Monday (kinda late) Hangman's Handiwork

I have been a selfish Minion. I have stalled getting the latest

post written up, in the hopes that my project would be done by now.

So. Not. The case.

 The challenge theme is to use either a noose, or knots of

some kind on your project. You can google, "how to tie a noose".

It's surprisingly easy.

The hangman's knot or hangman's noose (also known as a collar during the Elizabethan era) is a well-known knot most often associated with its use in hanging a person.

Macabre Monday Emergency Embellies week 2

That's right. You still have a week to enter our current challenge.

Do you have a "go to" embellishment that you turn to in a pinch?

How about sparkly ribbon or a cool 3D embellishment?

Well, try to make a project using only one type of embellishment.

Not as easy as you may think.

Apparently, Donna likes the googly eyes.  

Really though, who doesn't love a good googly eye, or two?

Personally, I like brads. 

If I have a blank spot to fill, there goes a brad. 

I used four diamond brads on this card.

Stephen King Knightmare week 2

When you think of Stephen King, what comes to mind?

Rabid St. Bernards, scary old clowns, vampires, The Overlook Hotel, 

girls with telekinetic powers, ghosts? How about a creepy 

hospital with a giant anteater roaming the halls? 

Maybe even a '58 Plymouth Fury, named Christine?

No matter what you think of Mister King, he has been both prolific, 

and ground breaking, in the horror genre.
