Zombie Apocalypse Winner
Well as all of your entries totally rocked this challenge we kind macabre type people have decided that everyone deserved to win the digis so if you could email smudgetastic36@yahoo.co.uk with the subject zombie apocalypse you will be emailed your digis.
SBS Summer Zombie Preview Day 2 - Rio
Yep, Day 2... I missed the first day, so be sure to run over to the Simply Betty Stamps Blog for yesterday's Summer Zombie Lola! We will be showcasing a new Summer Zombie everyday from today until Friday... which is their official release for both digi and clear stamps!
More news... once all the stamps are made into either rubber or clear form the SBS digis will be retired. Betty will begin the retiring process in the next few weeks so make sure you grab the Emos before they go as they will be some of the first ones to be retired from digi form. Again, for all the details regarding this, please read yesterday's post on the SBS blog.
Now, on to today's Summer Zombieness: Summer Zombie Rio!
I know I've been doing super simple cards lately... but the images are so large that there just isn't room to foof up too much ;) I DID manage to squeeze in one of Creepy Glowbugg's GlowSkullz... right on top of an old Heidi Swapp flower & some awesome web trim from May Arts.
Does the sentiment make sense? Nothin' like zombified rotting fleshing baking in the sun, right? ;) And the perfect garnish for a fleshy margarita... a nice slice of brain... mmmm.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's Summer Zombie luvin' at the main SBS blog!

HDH085 Gothic Pinup - ala The Macabre Mistress
Quick post today since I'm supposed to be working :P
"Why no, BossMan... I'm not blogging... I'm doing research."
ANYway, back to this week's fun challenge sponsored by Tiddly Inks... Whoo hoo... thanks so much, Christy! I chose to work with Heartbroke Happy... kinda sad... or is she? I'm thinking she is more like an inflicter of heartache instead... right?!
The sheer skirt was fun to work with, and I tried out some new Copic colors... BG99, BG95, BG93... I'm diggin' them. And I vamped her out a bit with C00 & BV20's skin tones :)
AND do you see the little skully?! I used a fun red/white camo GlowSkull from our very own Creepy Glowbugg! I placed him atop a snippet of black lace on top of a swirled ribbon flower that I created from grosgrain... me likey.
You've still got about 3 more days to play along for a chance at a $10 gift voucher to Tiddly Inks!!! Check out all the details on this week's Macabre Monday post!
What do you think?

Fiendishly Fun Friday - web-shrouded trees
After the floods in Pakistan last year, millions of spiders took to living in trees to escape the waters. Because in some areas, the waters have taken so long to recede, it has left trees blanketed with spiderwebs, to the point that they look shrouded for burial.

One unexpected side-effect is a reduction in the number of malaria-sufferers in regions where this phenomenom has occurred. It's thought that mosquitoes are getting caught in the webs. So the next time your friends or family moan about your creepier tendencies, point out that they may have unexpected health benefits, you just never know. And yes, I know this post isn't as laugh-filled as you usually get on Fridays, but I just thought that the pictures of these trees were astounding.

Wicked Wednesday - HDH085 Gothic Pin-up
This week's Wicked Wednesday
offering is for the Gothic Pin-up challenge
sponsored by Tiddly Inks.
I chose to create with "Wicked Fun".
I guess that I am pretty predictable since Donna
said she figured I'd pick this one.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for a chick with horns!
I decided to go with a non-traditional fire color scheme,
and chose purples instead of reds.
Besides, Donna kinda beat me to it this week with her fiery red
card on Monday and the naughty underwear sentiment.
I used a Tiddly Inks freebie sentiment from their
Paper Craft Planet group from a while back.
Please join us this week and maybe you will be the
lucky weiner of a $10 gift certificate to the
Tiddly Inks digi store.

Wicked Wednesday - Zombie Apocalypse in pictures
So my Macabre Monday project did not go as planned.
I am working on another "something", but wanted to
bring you some Kitty Zombie Lovin' to keep you
satisfied until I complete, said project.
This concludes my Wicked Wednesday offering.
Hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow with a real,
CreepyG original zombie creation.
I will try not to crumble under the pressure to create something
truly amazing. I'll try, but I kinda think that was my downfall
the first time around.

The prize this week for the winner will be the three zombie digis below:
Now, how about you, my little pretties?? Are you up for the challenge this week?

HDH083 - Magically Witchy, Macabre Mistress style...
I confess, I've had this AWESOME image colored up for a couple of weeks now... thankfully, otherwise I would not have been able to play along this week! The image is "The Key" from Stitchy Bear Stamps.
As you can see, I had a little fun with my MS grass border punch :) As well as an EK Success one. The background paper is from Rusty Pickle's Thriller collection... LOVE IT. I'm so sad that I only bought one sheet of this. It had three other 6x6 patterns that you'll see eventually, but this one is my fave.
You'll notice that I added a hat to Stitchy's image... after all, the challenge is "Magically Witchy" :) I did save it as a jpeg, so if anyone wants it, just email me and I'll send it to you. Or wait until later tonight and I'll edit this post and add it here. I slit the hat so that it slid right on her head. Genius, me thinks.
Well, off to get some work done... and don't forget that you have until Sunday night to enter this week's challenge!! Who wouldn't want to win some Stitchy Bear Stamps digi-goodness?

Fiendishly Fun Friday - Kittiwat Unarrom
Thanks to Sarah Cooper for bringing this bit o' macabre to the Minnions' attention. Kittiwat Unarrom is the creative genius behind Thailand's Body Bakery, where you can buy his totally edible and gruesomely realistic bread sculptures. Seriously, they're made from bread, not torture victims :P

Now all you have to decide is whether you want your morning toast to be a crust piece or a brain piece :P

Third Degree Burn Thursday
I am back today with a couple more cards I made using
images from this week's Macabre Monday sponsor,
This card is spotlighting one of the silhouette images from
the "Dem Bones" digi pack. There are three images in this set.
This key is my destash for this card. It is an awesome
wood cut out from Pork Chop Show on Etsy.
I've got some really creepy baby doll eye cut outs from him
also, I just haven't been able to fit them into a project yet.
I also finally used my Tim Holtz Poison embossing folder!
I just went over the raised bits with some silver dye ink to make
the embossing pop.
I used another of the Dem Bones images for
a masculine, yet fancy, card.
Yes, I know the ribbon is crooked. I fixed it,
but didn't bother to retake the pictures.
The weird bat brad is the destash here.
Please join us this week for our
"Magically Witchy" challenge,
and maybe you'll win $10 in digis from Stitchy Bear!
Good Luck!!!
Oh, and no specific reason for today's post title.
I just thought it was eye catching and a bit silly.

Wicked Wednesday - HDH083 Magically Witchy
Creepy G here with another Hump Day offering.
This week's Macabre Monday challenge is sponsored by

There is $10 worth of digital goodness up for grabs
this week.
The challenge is simple.
Make something magically witchy.
I used some of the killer Zodiac Tiny Tickets for my card.
These come in a set of 12, so you have one for every month
which makes it easy for birthdays and those friends who like
the whole astrology thing.
I used each month's birthstone to figure the color
of each ticket. After coloring each one with Copics,
I fussy cut each ticket and aged it a bit with distress inks.
I am planning on making a set of these to keep on hand
for each month just in case I forget some one's special day.
I have another Stitchy project using the "Dem Bones" silhouettes,
but my battery croaked before I could get any photos. I'll post them tomorrow.
Please join us this week for our Macabre Monday challenge and
drop by Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps and check out all the
amazing images you could choose from if you are this week's
winner!
