Macabre Monday HDH072 - Hell Hath No Fury

HDH Macabre Monday Rules:
1. Create a dark and macabre SOMETHING (card, scrap page, altered item, whatever) that follows the specific Macabre Monday challenge given. Cutesy is fine, but creepy is better :)
2. You have until the following Sunday night @ 5pm central time to post your creation and please leave a direct-link back here. Please make sure that your blog post / upload has been made AFTER the challenge date... we wanna see fresh stuff, not those from a few weeks ago!!
3. If you upload to any online galleries (TACPCC, S&S, PCP, SCS, etc.), please tag the title using HDH072.
4. Weekly giveaways! Some weeks will be loaded with loot, others not-so-much... but the thrill is in the win, right?! Some prizes shall be by random drawing, others hand picked... and I'm not telling you ahead of time :)
5. We'll be selecting a weekly Gruesome Twosome (our top two favorite creations) from all the players. At the end of every month these will be compiled and a Master of Macabre will be selected and will receive a little giftie from me... this could be stamp sets, handmade items, papers, halloweenie embellishments... you just never know.

Our latest addition to the Sisterhood of the Sinister...

Now that you know that Smudgetastic Andrea has joined our horde of Macabre Minions, I thought you might want to know a little sumpin' sumpin' about her :)  Here's a pic & a little bio:

Andrea as Mom
Andrea as how we like to picture her :)
My name is Andrea which means “warrior man” in Greek. I don’t think this describes what I’m about at all so here is a quick biography of myself. I was born in Wellington, New Zealand in 1974 but now live in Scotland. I am married with three very young gorgeous but very boisterous children who take it in turns to drive me to derangement. I’m desperately clinging onto sanity but red wine and banging my head off the wall seems to help for now. On occasions my home looks and smells like the chimp’s house at Edinburgh zoo or the baby crèche at Shutter Island but we cope and during the quieter times, when the kids are in bed, I get to dabble in my craft. Arts and Crafts are my joy and that is why I was surprised and honoured when I was asked to join the Macabre Minions. I’m particularly attracted to the quirky and the creepy which is no doubt on account of my early obsession with horror movies. I am also very interested in Celtic mythology and legends which inspire some of my work.

Welcome to the Macabre Minions, Andrea!
We think you are a perfect addition to this crazy creepy bunch of gals!

And if you, Stalker (reader), are new to this blog, you can check out the rest of our bios in THIS post!
Have a great weekend... keep it creepy!

SBS Valentine Emos Release Day Hop!

Yeay!  It's finally here :)  Simply Betty Stamps' Valentine Emos Release par-tay!  If you've arrived here via Angela's blog, you are on the right track... if not or if you get lost along the way, please go to the Simply Betty Challenge blog.  While you are there, you might want to check out how to win a couple of these awesome Valentine Emo digi's!

And here is my little bit o' love today...

Yes, the infamous Cupid Christian feeding Valentine Lola a line ;)  I really couldn't figure out a whopper of a witty sentiment... I'm sure y'all can have a little fun with THAT!  Some others I was kicking around:

"What are you tryin' to say...  this outfit isn't sexy?"
or
"How many guys CAN pull off this look, huh?!"

:)

I know... silly.  But fun!  I LOVE the look in Lola's eye... is it not devious?!  I Stickled her up a bit for a bit o' blinginess... I mean she had to match Christian's halo & wings, right?

That face!  {giggling}  I don't know of any dude (of sound mind) that would don a diaper to impress the ladies... I'm just sayin'.  :)

Well, that's it for this Fiendishly Fun Friday!  Don't forget to leave some lovin' along the hop... you could win a little sumpin' sumpin' ;)

Your next stop on this Virtual Valentine Voyage is Betty Boo!

Like Valentine Betty, London has a big wink for ya'... cute, huh?

And I am loving my Scor-Tape & squinchy ribbon look...

The sentiment is a retired one from TAC and the ribbon is HL.
I've used MME's Alphabet Soup Boy

Be sure to check out the SBS challenge blog for the other DT's work... it is fabulous as always!

Simply Betty Stamps also carries a few choice paper lines, including those shown here today!

Be sure to check out the SBS challenge blog for the other DT's work... it is awesome!  And you make want to scroll back to start on January 1st... it's worth it!

Happy Holidays from HDH!

My last Winter holiday card for you this year... and actually it isn't really THAT holiday-ish... me thinks I could send this anytime.  And let me say that every time I use Stickles or glitter, I can't get the color balance & lighting right, so once again we have photos of the sucky variety :)
Nice sentiment, right?  Yeah.  I like it, too :)  It's from Stamp Insanity.  I'm picturing the adorable little Octopode Factory Angel yelling at the Christmas tree... like a few bulbs are out or something :)  Yes... yes... I like to make up little stories for my cards.  And that's just one of the MANY reasons why y'all come back to HDH all the time, right?!

I hope you and yours have a very Happy Winter holiday, and a joyful & prosperous New Year!
