 You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween page, project or card using an image with an Asian influence.  Anime, Kanji, Asian lithographs, menus from your local Chinese food place... whatever!  As long as they have a Gothic or "dark" twist :)

And, since I had a crazy-busy weekend with a Shriner event and then an all day Copic certification class (yeay!) on Sunday, I did not get my challenge card finished :)  I told you before... SLACKER!  But, I'm hoping to play tomorrow, since I took the day off from work... and no house cleaning!

I've been a blogging slacker here at HDH!  I know!  I need to find a free moment to just sit down and create... alas... it will NOT be this weekend!  Far too busy... BUT maybe I can do something on Monday {crossing fingers, muttering mantra to the Goddess of Spare Time}

Vampy Vampyress

 You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween page, project or card using an image of a vampyre or vampyress.  Decrepit or sexy, mysterious or "in your face"...  let's see those fanged fiends!

 And look, can you believe I finished my card on time?!  I know, I've TOTALLY been slacking as of late, but since I've been working full time again, I'm mojo-less after work :(  What's good is that I just received a fresh supply of creepy-cool images from Stamp It Crazy!  I LOVE happy mail!

I altered a fairy image to create this vampyress... I blackened the eyes & then added fangs with a white gel pen.  The original image is so pretty, put I needed a little bit of vamp in there :)

Stamps:  fairy FY38 (Stamp It Crazy), Mini-bet (TAC), Creative Inspiration (retire TAC)

Paper:  White UltraSmooth & DCWV cardstocks, and black Bazzill

I am trying to get the hang of those Copics still... luckily I'll be getting Copic certified on Sunday the 21st!  Can't wait :)  I did pretty good on the wings, but now you can't tell since I coated them in glitter!

HDH025 - PumpkinRot Inspiration

Well, my little pretties... this is what I came up with for the HDH025 Eerie Inspiration challenge.  I didn't use a lot of bells & whistles on this one... just ink & cardstock!  

 I added a bit o' drab color with some Copic markers, but the real kicker to this one is that the scene was created with three different stamps.  Stamp It Crazy's wicked-cool skelly witch stamp (HAL35), the tree is from Stamp Oasis, and the haystack & grass is  from an unknown stamp I bought at a convention.  The sentiment is from TAC's Happy Haunting.

I also wanted to show what Terra is getting as a prize for the January 2010 Master of the Macabre honor.  Sweet, right?  Yep, Oz donated this bit o' goodness, too!  Isn't she the best?!  I know!  Hey, Terra... you still need to send me your address, baby ;)

HDH023 - Darkside Bride

How's that title grab ya'?!  Isn't there some evil bride reality show or something?  Bridezilla?  Well, I must say that this bride from the Darkside is quite stylish, no?  Definitely blinged-out... as all brides should be.  I LOVE this stamp image... too bad it's retired... aren't you jealous ;)

The photos really don't show how sparkly the glimmer mists are or how the dress coloring has more of the crimson shade.  But you'll just have to trust me ;)  I added some Black Stickles to the centers of the lace ovals... looks almost dried-blood-ish IRL.
